What is past life regression therapy? A book is not a single chapter, but the sum of all its chapters. Currently you are living a life as a single chapter in the book of your Soul. A form of hypnotherapy, past life regression is a therapeutic approach by which past experiences can be accessed to bring to the light of awareness, thus ushering the release of stuck energy that has been holding you back. The goal is to help free you from limitation. The goal is for healing. The goal is to help you feel lighter and more at peace. This is not a reading in which I tell you about what has happened or is happening. This is a therapeutic means by which I serve to assist so that you personally experience each encounter yourself, guided by what surfaces from within you. This is your story and yours to experience. If you have ever felt that something is holding you back, or if you have felt like you have been through an experience before, or have even had a strange sense that you've already been to a place that is new to you, perhaps that something is more tangible than you think.
Why have a past life regression? While some people do so out of curiosity, most people seek out past life regression therapy for greater insight, personal growth, and for healing. There is a fundamental human need to find meaning in life, and by journeying inward that deeper meaning can be accessed. As well, fears, anxieties, phobias, and inexplicable pains that are linked to past traumas long forgotten can be brought to awareness and released. Past life traumas, that might be the root of physical problems, may also be released. In addition, the transition through death and into life beyond can be experienced providing greater clarity for the curious, while dissipating fear for those anxious about death. It is typical to leave a session with new insights and perspectives while feeling good, feeling lighter and feeling more at peace. For those more attuned to the spiritual, past life work provides rewards.
How does it work? It is not necessary to believe in reincarnation for past life therapy to work. Scenarios emerge, no matter your beliefs or non-beliefs. In fact, a session can just as easily be thought of as a time simply to experience stories from the inner mind, stories that perhaps mesh surprisingly well with the circumstances of your life today, stories that can lead to the release of troubling issues and to healing.
We each bring a mix of past experiences into our current life, some of it positive and some of it negative. Each of these experiences carries an energetic charge leading to patterns threading through our lives today that affect us in a myriad of ways. These patterns stem from anything such as past hurts or disappointments, maybe failures, losses, mistakes, guilt, shame, resentments, or perhaps traumatic or sudden deaths, all in need of resolution or release.
Until these causal events are revisited, the negative patterns associated only continue to be triggered and repeated throughout the current life in ways that present themselves as difficult, if not painful. They can affect our choices in life, our relationships, our ability to engage in life or to hold back. They can affect our motivations, and even our physical bodies and health. By becoming aware of these memories and the feelings buried with them, we can release the negative patterns that have hampered us and prevented us from reaching our greater potential. Through our awareness of what lies within us, we are able to live more fully in the present and are better able to experience and know the love and inner light within.
This is not a process of conscious remembering. In fact, the effort of trying to remember becomes a hindrance. This is a process not of trying, but of relaxing and allowing the hidden memories to emerge naturally and without effort, much like observing bubbles as they rise to the surface of water. You cannot help the bubbles rise, rather, they do so on their own.
We will begin by discussing why you want to have a regression and what you would like to accomplish. We will look into your personal history, your health issues, and any major life events to determine underlying threads that might have become patterns affecting your life today.
For the actual regression you will be reclined and led into a relaxed state with eyes closed. Throughout the process I will be assisting you, as you experience whatever emerges from within. Everyone's experience is different. For some, powerful emotions can play out making for intense sessions, while others are impacted in other memorable ways. A review of each session is important. Afterward, we will discuss your experience to help you process what you encountered and to highlight any illuminating insights that might have surfaced, often helping to unlock a longheld mystery.
How many sessions does it take? There is no single answer. Some clients find what they need in one session. Some have a session and need time to integrate their experience before having another. Some require more, while others desire more. I might suggest additional sessions; yet, we might both feel we have addressed your needs in one session.
What can I expect as a result of having a session? The results are wide-ranging, as no two sessions are alike. You might come away from a session having found clarity to an old issue. You might find that you have released the entangled emotions surrounding some old problem, whether it be a phobia, fear, or physical complaint, thus bringing relief from that longstanding challenge. It is typical to gain new insights into behaviors and attitudes, thus offering new perspectives. You might experience an inner light within you, if not a light that comes to you and brings with it warmth, love, and acceptance for you as you are. Most leave with a greater sense of peace, glad they had the experience. Sessions typically last between 2 - 3 hours, and will be recorded for your benefit.
